There are Better: Cetaphil is a soap free non-ionic cleanser. It does not adequately remove surface epidermal lipids. Detergent cleansers are preferred.

Gentle : Yes, gentle cleansers are ideal for acne prone skin. Cetaphil and a competitor called purpose are both very good choices. Cetaphil also makes a good facial moisturizer that is nice for people with acne.
