You will pay more!: Unfortunately, it will cost more, but unlikely to be denied. Hpb is a feature. Having a "gut" is a feature. Having a bad lipid profile is a reason. And finally you may be pre diabetic, diabetic, or have an elevated hga1c. Everything can be controlled if medication up to a point, and everything normalized will improve longevity. What cannot be controlled by your doctor is your "gut" and weight.
