A member asked:

When does a couple qualify for clomid (clomiphene)?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Most infertility: While typically and classically given to women who don't ovulate normally, to assist them with fertility, Clomid (clomiphene) is commonly given to most women who are subfertile as a 'first line' therapy. A woman should have at least one open fallopian tube, cannot be menopausal, and should have a partner with reasonable sperm for this to be appropriate. Certain women won't respond; see your doctor.
