May help: The benzoyl peroxide over-the-counter stuff may help. If it is not sufficient, i start folks on a cheap prescription Clindamycin topical preparation with or without a retinoic acid derivative, which works better; there's stronger stuff aswell. Even in our dysfunctional health care system, no youngster should have to suffer with acne -- life's hard enough without. Good luck.

A Good Choice: Benzoyl peroxide 10 percent combined with a topical retinoids is superb for mild to moderate acne. In sensitive individuals, 2.5% or 5% concentrations are preferred.
