Broken bones take: 6-8 weeks to heal at a minimum. With a fracture of both malleoli, that had to be quite an injury. Assuming thebones are positioned properly and the area immobilized in a cast properly. The 6-8 weeks is fairly well on target and then it is up to some form of physical therapy and rehab to regain full use of your ankle. As always with fractures, healing can take longer but it can never go faster.

Fracture: A broken bone usually requires 6-8 weeks to heal on average. If surgery is required then i would count on the full 8 weeks.
