Join the registry: The major registry in the us is the nmdp. They have information at bethematch.Org. Joining this registry can be done by submitting a sample (cheek swab). Then when a request from a doctor comes to the nmdp for a bone marrow transplant comes through, your information will be included in the search. If you are closely matched, they will contact you about additional testing.
