What will happen if i drink alcohol while taking allegra (fexofenadine) d?

Intoxication: Alcohol causes nasal congestion so you may find that drinking renders Allegra d less effective for symptoms of allergic rhinitis. Because the antihistamine in Allegra d does not cause drowsiness it won't increase the sedative & depressant effects of alcohol. I found no reports of adverse effects of alcohol & the decongestant present in Allegra d. Remember to always drink sensibly & responsibly.

Effects of alcohol: Normally antihistamine causes drowsiness which would be increased with alcohol. Allegra (fexofenadine) does not cause drowsiness, but the alcohol will still have all of its inherent effects. Always take care when consuming alcoholic beverages.
