Wet washcloth: Wetting a washcloth with cool water and letting them chew on it helps. You can also take the seeds out of a cucumber slice and let them chew on it (just watch to make sure they don't bite big pieces off).

Massage: Using your fingers or a wet washcloth (some prefer warm, others cool) massage the upper and lower gums with gentle pressure. This can calm many teething babies.

Orajel: Orajel is good to sooth the baby's gum during teething. Wipe the area dry with a soft gauze, then use the q-tip to place the orajel. Chloraseptic spray would also work. Make sure to dry the mucosa with gauze to increase the effectiveness.

Baby's gums: Dip ur finger or a qtip in a salty salt water (one teaspoon in a 5 oz. Glass) and gently rub it on the inflamed and sore spots.. I yr. Baby will be much more comfortable in hours.
