Is marijuana healthy under any conditions?

Marijuana: I don't think marijuana is healthy because smoking anything damages the lungs. It also causes a lack of will and can serve as a gateway to the use of other drugs. I do however use marinol, a pill which can only be prescribed by a physician, to control cancer patients' nausea and loss of appetite.
