A member asked:

How do ace inhibitors reverse microalbuminuria?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unclear: I don't believe that the mechanism is well understood but they do act on the renal glomerulus, improving membrane integrity, reducing protein leakage, and thus do help microalbumenuria. In addition, they also lower blood pressure which is also beneficial.
