Sometimes: There are a variety of fruits including ripe mango which can be of some benefit to patients with acid reflux, possibly because of the digestive enzyme papain found in this.

Mango: is a "LOW acid" fruit and any smooth/acid free/low acid food will temporarily help the symptoms of acid reflux. That being said there are effective medications for more lasting and complete elimination of the symptoms. Hope this is helpful! Dr Z
