A member asked:

Is a rapid heart rate one of the symptoms of congestive heart failure or coronary disease?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not primary symptom: Congestive heart failure may be associated with rapid heart beat but this is not the primary symptom. Rapid heart beat is not usually a sign of coronary artery disease. Rapid heart beat can also occur in otherwise normal hearts.
