Just Ask: But be prepared to share with your physician what you believe sparks your anxiety, how you deal with it, daily habits that may affect it and any family related details that you can share. It is important to explore the cause to create a treatment.

Openly and candidly: Anxiety can be a devastating illness. It can essentially paralyze a person socially and functionally. Make an appointment for the purpose of discussing anxiety. Tell the doctor your concerns, symptoms, the effects this is having on you and openly and freely answer their questions. You may wish to take an on-line anxiety test and bring with you. Get seen and get treated. Best to you!
