How bad is a sprained ankle if you have an ankle splint?

Not enough info: An ankle splint can be used technically for grade 1, 2, or even 3. So hard to answer. The splint doesn't determine the extent of the injury. The amount of ligaments and extend fof stretch or tear in the ligament more readily grades the sprain.

Can't tell: Often times an ankle splint is used in a grade 1 or 2 injury. More information would be needed to tell you how bad it is.
