A member asked:

Are there ways to reverse muscular atrophy if you have muscular dystrophy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Usually not: There are some experimental compounds that may prevent or delay atrophy in muscular dystrophy but nothing that uasually brings back muscles that have atrophied already. One should discuss preventative measures as well as possible treatmenst with a neuromuscular neurologist.
