Depends on...: How well the fracture is reduced and which bone is involved. For example, a spiral fracture of a metacarpal might not cause much deformity when the fingers are extended, but may cause the injured finger to cross its neighbor upon making a fist. Other deformities are possible. See a hand surgeon to assure the best healing and to minimize complications.
