If the mri says a partial tear of anterior cruciate ligament what will the doctor suggest that we do?

ACL tear: For a partial tear, you would require physical therapy and time may heal the ligament. If you don't take the time or care to rest you may create a full tear.

Personalized: The answer should be tailored to your situation. We are learning more about the acl all the time: there are many types of partial tears. It may be a new tear of one of the 2 bundles in the acl (a tear of the anteromedial bundle of the acl may be just a debilitating as a complete tear), or it could be a radiologist reading a scarred down acl tear as a partial tear. It varies.
