Not really: The primary treatment of environmental allergens is avoidance. If symptoms are already present, having a kitten, later to be a cat, in the home is counterproductive. As the quantity of dander increases over time, the symptoms also increase. As bonding with the animal takes place, removing the animal becomes more difficult, leading to more persistent and more difficult to control symptoms.
