I have been taking nasal steroid for a longtime but it isn't working this summer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nasal steroids: It's probable that your body has gotten resistant to your nasal spray. Alternatively, the nasal steroid may not be strong enough to control your symptoms any longer. You may try another brand. However, have you included antihistamines in your treatment regimen? If not, try taking one of those once-daily otc preparations. Have you had an allergy evaluation? Maybe, singulair (montelukast) or allergy shots on tap.
