What drugs are available to treat hepatitis?

Depends on the cause: Hepatits means inflammation of the liver. Hepatitis has many causes and the treatment depends on the cause. The most common cause is drugs and medications like tylenol (acetaminophen) . Other causes include alcohol abuse, infections like viral infections (like hepatitis a, b, c, d, ebv, CMV and others), familial diseases like hemochromatosis, autoimmune diseases, enzyme diffeciencies, and other causes.

B and C: There are drugs that can treat hepatitis b (tenofovir, lamivudine, telbivudine, adefovir), and there are drugs that can treat and cure hepatitis c (ribavirin, interferon, telaprevir, boceprevir). More drugs for hepatitis c will be approved very soon.
