Why won't my eyes open after a scary dream? any i don't even have eye crust!

Paralysis: In rem sleep our eyelid muscles are paralyzed. If you wake up from a dream occurring during a rem cycle too quickly, your body muscles don't have time to become unparalyzed for a moment and you can't move or open your eyes. Can be frightening but not dangerous.
