If ocd, impulsivity, and depression are all caused by a lack of serotoin, then what naturally can one do to reverse it?

Not caused by low: Serotonin. What we know is that some people with depression and many people with OCD get better when given medicines that increase the serotonin in their brains. In no way does this imply causality. Impulsivity is a much more complex phenomena. Both depression and OCD improve with cognitive behavioral therapy as well.

Some possibilities: This is a good question! the answer is still being sought through research. But, there has been some promising work on nonpharmacologic methods of increasing serotonin. Increasing positive emotion may increase serotonin synthesis. Yes, there may be a 2-way relationship between serotonin and mood. Also, exposure to light, increased exercise, and diet may increase serotonin levels in some cases.
