PT consult: The first thing to check is fit. If the seat is too deep, you may be cutting off circulation behind your legs. Also, chairs that have a sling seat are more likely to put pressure behind the legs. Then find out if your chair can have elevating leg rests. A good physical therapist should be able to give you some tips or order appropriate modifications to your chair.
