A member asked:

What is the length of time for a fused back recovery?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: Recovery from the surgical wound pain is usually 1-2 weeks. The resumption of work and/or activities is dependent upon your doctor, type of fusion, and pathology. Most bone healing to a clinical "solid" fusion can take up to a minimum of 4-6 months, and bone maturation can occur over years.
