A member asked:

Systemic yeast infection for a guy? how can that happen?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unusual: Getting systemic yeast infection in an otherwise "normal" person would be very unusual. Would need to know the circumstances, but patients with profound immuno-suppressive conditions may be more susceptible to this condition.
