A member asked:

Do i have to wear glasses everyday if i am nearsighted or can i take them off except to drive?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not always: To safely drive day or night, you should probably wear your glasses, as you have noted. Any other activity, or at least those which do not involve rapidly-moving vehicles, sports, projectiles, people, or objects, you can probably skip it; medically speaking, wearing glasses for nearsighted correction makes no difference at your age. You just won't see things very clearly from a distance.
