Do i need to bring someone with me for an endoscopy?

Yes: You will likely receive some sedation and will need someone to drive you home. In fact, they most likely won't begin the procedure unless they know you have someone with you.

Yes: You shouldn't drive after receiving sedation for an endoscopy. If you are willing to have the endoscopy without sedation, you may be allowed to go home on your own; but this is very uncommon.
