Posture, therapy: Many hunched backs start as poor posture so working to sit and stand straight can help. Sometimes weak muscles contribute, so physical therapy helps. However, some hunched backs are due to abnormal curving of the spine called kyphosis, due to weak and ven collapsing bones from osteoporosis. This is not reversible. Avoid it if possible with exercise, calcium, vit d.
