Medical Consultation: Your dad may have had a heart attack. He should be medically evaluated asap to make sure that his problem was not related to his heart. Let's hope it wasn't but you should make sure.

Cardiac or gi: Sometimes indigestion is really a sign of a heart attack. 175/90 is consistent with high blood pressure. He should take his BP meds and get an ekg as soon as possible. If he has hyperacidity, he could try maalox first, but if he has any chest pain, he should go to the E.R.

Reflux, hypertension: Try using Tums (calcium carbonate) or prilosec. For the hypertension, see your doctor to start on medications. The goal of blood pressure is <140/90.
