Bipolar: Mood stabilizers tend to bring moods to euthymic state. Antidepressants may be used when depression ensues, with caution in dozing, so as not to trigger mania.

Not a good idea: While hypo mania includes increased self esteem and productivity, it may also lead to impulsivity and impaired judgement. The goal is to prevent both depression and mania/hypo mania. For every up there is a down.
