A member asked:

Will benadryl (diphenhydramine) work for fish or shellfish allergies?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Fish allergies: Benadryl (diphenhydramine) could work but with fish and shell fish allergies if it is bad best thing is to avoid eatiing it. Some prepackaged foods have shell fish products in them so please read labels before you consume these. It may be prudent to carry an epi-pen for you and you can have your doc prescribe one for you to carry with you at all times.
