Do you get rsd from an injury?

Yes: Rsd can occur after a previous traumatic injury in predisposed people. For example, the patient may have sustained a previous fracture or sprain that seems as though it never heals. On closer examination, the pain from the initial injury has improved but another has taken its place-namely rsd.

Yes: Rsd is a chronic pain condition that is believed to be the result of dysfunction in the central or peripheral nervous systems. Rsd involves irritation and abnormal excitation of nervous tissue, leading to abnormal impulses along nerves that affect blood vessels and skin. It is almost always causes by an injury, sometimes even tendonitis or other soft tissue injury.
