While most rei specialists primarily focus on the treatment of infertility, reproductive endocrinologists also have training in ob-gyn.

REI: A reproductive endocrinologist is a fertility medicine physician specially trained to handle all the hormonal and surgical issues with women trying to conceive. They have done an ob/gyn residency and subsequently have trained in a reproductive endocrine infertility subspecialty fellowship. They also have in vitro fertilization, microsurgical training, along with lase and possibly robotic training.
