A member asked:

Does herniated nucleus pulposus mean the same as cervical radiculopathy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: A herniated disc can be a cause of a cervical radiculopathy which is pain over a nerve arising from the neck due to a compression of that nerve but a disc can herniate without causing nerve compression or even any symptoms even with compression of nerve.
