Butterbur: There are excellent herbal and mineral treatments that seem to help with migraine. A good health food store can provide literature. Willow bark and butterbur are examples. Anti-nausea treatments are useful as are sedatives. The photophobia is the brain's protection that forces you to close your eyes and sleep. Dark, quiet and cool and sleep are the best treatments for migraine.

Feverfew has been used as well. Be careful about getting all your info from health food stores-they stock books that help them sell their products: marketing tool, not necessarily balanced info.

Oh yeah; these are not homeopathic (i.e. more dilute is more powerful;law of similars), but herbal drugs (herbal source of pharmacologically active substances).
