Is this new?: Sometimes, especially is you sleep in contact lenses, the eyes become very dry and the surface of the eye does not properly conduct light into the eye, causing these problems. As your symptoms may be the result of a more serious eye disorder, you should visit your eye doctor for a proper diagnosis. Good luck.
