A member asked:

Mucous in eyes; seems to be allergic related?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: Mucous in the eyes can be one sign of allergy. Most of the time, people with allergies will also experience redness, itching, and excessive tearing. Nasal symptoms of congestion, sneezing, and runny nose will help to confirm this. If there are not any of those associated symptoms, there is probably something else going on.
