A member asked:

Has anyone studied longterm effects of all the types of fertility drug on the children created? they are nearly 30, right?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sort of: I think the first baby from in vitro is about 32 now. She has had a child of her own. Pregnancies created from fertility treatments are at slightly higher risk for things like pre-eclampsia and preterm delivery. Therefore the babies may have some problems related to prematurity. Other than that, most think they are healthy.
