Flushes, leg cramps: Raloxifene (evista) is used to prevent and treat osteoporosis. It also prevents breast cancer. Although most people do not experience significant side effects, hot flashes and leg cramps may occur. Evista (raloxifene) also slightly increases the risk of thromboembolism (blood clots in the legs or lungs).
