SEVERE: At the onset, the pain may be mild and cramping, not unlike a normal stomach ache. However, within 24hrs, the pain changes, "moving" to the right lower abdomen, and becoming sharp, constant, and progressively worsening.

Variable: Diffuse over mid abdomen followed by migration and localization to right lower quadrant ofvabdomen( mcburney's point) then focal, severe until rupture, with transient relief until, peritonitis. Movement of right leg may stretch psoas and incite more discomfort.
