The incidence is increased in teen pregnancies, early prenatal exposure to alcohol drugs that constrict blood vessels, like Pseudoephedrine or cocaine, methamphetamine. & tobacco. Abdominal wall defects occur at 5-10 wks.' gestation, often , before pregnancy diagnosis.
