Professional care: Pay attention to your health. Eat well, stay in shape (exercise), and take recommended supplements like a complete vitamin & mineral supplement. For the supplement pay special attention to frolic acid (folate) and iron; 2000 iu of vitamin d daily might also be a good idea. Most importantly, be sure your pregnancy is monitored from early on by a qualified obstetrician.

Folate, (folic acid) progesterone: Preconceptional Folic Acid and supplemental Progesterone can prevent preterm birth recurrence safely and effectively. If you are one of the rare women with cervical incompetence, a cerclage could help you avoid recurrent preterm birth. Aspirin could also prevent preeclmapsia and fetal growth restriction and thus prevent indicated preterm birth. Maintain low stress and normal weight for your height.
