Can someone become addicted to benzocaine?

Not likely: Benzocaine is an anesthetic. So is cocaine. I don't think Benzocaine creates euphoria, do it is not likely to be addicting. But then again, i never thought that over the counter cough syrup could be addicting either, but people get addicted to dextromethorphan in otc cough syrup. Go figure.
