Depends: It should be used under a direction of a physician. It has many side effects and should be used only as indicated. That being said, one of the indication for Nolvadex (tamoxifen) use is mastalgia (breast pain). Please talk to your doctor to see if this is appropriate for you. Best option is the find out the cause of the "puffy nipples" to rule out bad causes and not to just treat the symptoms.

NO: You need to know the cause of the puffy nipples. It may be due to an infection, other types of inflammation, some type of edema, an allergic reaction, too much manipulation or sucking function and also an nderlying tumor. Tamoxifen is not intended for treatment of any of the conditons mentioned except for an underlying breast cancer which is hormone receptor positive as one aspect of the overall treatment.
