Vision Changes Yes: Paroxetine, a well known serotonin reuptake inhibitor (ssri), is indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorder, social anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and posttraumatic stress disorder. About 4% of patients taking paroxetine will experience blurred vision. Other conditions such as cataracts and glaucoma have occured.
