Does anyone know the survival rate of an avm (arteriovenous malformation) being in your head?

Depends: Symptoms of avm vary according to the location of the malformation. The most general symptoms of a cerebral avm include headache and epilepsy, with more specific symptoms occurring that normally depend on the location of the malformation and the individual. Survival rate depends on whether it bleeds.

Bleed risk: The overall risks of bleeding are 3-4% yearly. Each bleed episode carries a 25% risk of mortality. Overall risk of dying is therefore 1% yearly.
