Depend: If it is intermittent or vascular, treatment is aimed to improving circulation (stop smoking, exercise, some medication, sometimes surgery). If it is neurogenic (spinal), therapy, perhaps medication, injections, & surgery can work. Treatment of either type may increase the ability of exercise.
