DONT SMOKE!!!!!!!!!!: The most important risk factor for claudication is smoking. Control you cholesterol, blood pressure and diabetes (if you have diabetes). Exercise by walking at least 20-30 minutes at least four times weekly. If you can take one Aspirin daily. But most importantly....Stop smoking now!
