Avoid Saturated fat: There are a wide variety of good fats including polyunsaturated fat, monounsaturated fats, and omega-3 fatty acids. The key is to limit the fats that are unhealthy - saturated fat and trans fats. The american heart association recommends limiting saturated fat to no more than 7% of total daily calories.
