Yes: Children which wear or require frequent elastic bandages, require latex catheters, use latex bottle nipples can frequently develop latex allergy. Also if they are handled by care takers who frequently use latex gloves, they are at greater risk of developing latex allergy. You should not use powdered gloves with corn starch. Inhaling the latex which has adsorbed to the powder also contributes.
